VISION:
Advance peace initiatives through youth-centered education and empowerment. Our Vision is a world where each person feels secure, dignified, and included; a world where people build peace and manage conflict without violence.

MISSION:
Provide an international platform today’s world to a world filled with peace, harmony and understanding. Our Mission is to Influence, Impact, and Innovate for the peacebuilding field.

OUR WORK
VOV worked together since many years with people in conflict areas and concerned citizens to build just and peaceful societies across the globe.

In times of war and conflict, VOV works towards protection of civilians whatever their political or religious background. We are committed to bringing armed conflict to an end and to building peace with justice.

VOV campaigns for the rights of people who are harmed by governments or companies looking to exploit natural resources in the areas where they live.

VOV work in different countries in Asia, Africa, Middle East, where we initiate and support local peace initiatives. We work together with local peace activists in conflict areas and build bridges between hostile groups.

VOV work with partners on the ground in conflict areas to decision makers at the national and international level.

VOV brings together people that have the courage to stand for peace. Through public campaigns we mobilize national and international public and political support.

Achieving the bold vision set forth by the Sustainable Development Goals will require a collective effort—and that’s how VOV builds peace: channeling the collective strength of our members and amplifying the reach of the peacebuilding field.

Join the Leading Network of Professional Peacebuilders

Voice of the Voiceless International (VOV) encourages nonprofits, civil society organizations, and for-profit companies in the Italy and around the world to join our growing community.

We also welcome individual members from all walks of life—including students, young professionals, peacebuilding practitioners and professionals from related fields—who are engaged in peacebuilding or peace activities of any kind.

VOLUNTEER SUPPORT VOV PEACE MISSION
Voice of the Voiceless International is a big international coalition of likeminded organizations but we are only a very limited number of people working volunteer at the office. To organize conferences, plan actions and promote our message, we rely always on volunteers. If you are interested in supporting IPB’s activities, here are some options:

ORGANIZE AN EVENT
You could organize sponsored or benefit events, such as walks, concerts, exhibitions, auctions, or artistic events. You could also put on a lecture or peace event in the name of VOV, charging a fee for participation. You could assist us in organizing conferences, seminars, and other events, ask your local library to order VOV publications and distribute VOV literature.

SIGN ON TO OUR APPEALS
The VOV publishes quite regularly appeals or open letters to decision-makers. If you want to help strengthen our voice, please endorse them and donate your signature.

TRANSLATE DOCUMENTS
Translate VOV materials into Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Arabic, Russian, Dutch, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and Translations into other languages are also welcome!

SHARE NEWS FROM YOUR COUNTRY
At VOV we always love to hear about news persecution, human rights, peace and other local issues, etc. We are also very interested to learn about local peace initiatives. Please send your articles, pictures and studies to info@vovinternational.org

PASS ON CONTACTS
If you have contacts with trusts, benefactors, or companies, we would appreciate if you could pass them on. As well as with relevant research institutes and like-minded organizations.

COME TO AN VOV CONFERENCE
Join us at one of our conferences. They are ideal opportunities to meet peace activists from all over the world and share ideas for joint action. And it would be a pleasure for us to meet you in person! Through all these ways, we hope to build a World Without War. strengthen our voice, please endorse them and donate your signature.

Member Qualifications
Demonstrating a Dedication Towards Sustainable Peacebuilding, Learning, and Responsibility
Voice of the Voiceless International (VOV) members must meet the following criteria for membership within the organization:

• Demonstrate a dedication to building sustainable peace and security worldwide.
• Demonstrate commitment to evaluation and learning and to conducting effective, responsible, and innovative peacebuilding work.
• Contribute an annual membership fee. See below for dues levels.

Organizational and Professional membership applicants are subject to a vetting process, and must meet the additional criteria below:

• Submit letters of endorsement from current VOV members (or another verifiable source) to demonstrate that they fulfill the criteria below.
• Organizations must be nongovernmental in nature.

INDIVIDUAL DUES
Professionals – $100
Individuals engaged in applied peacebuilding activities. Professionals are listed on the website and have special privileges within the membership. Individuals – $50

Mid-level professionals with ten years of work experience. Young Professionals – $30

Students or young professionals with less than ten years of work experience. $15

Nongovernment Organization Dues: $100
